**Freemasonry** is a fraternal organisation that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century.
This relates to the constitution because the free masons have of constitution with 10 articles where some of the concepts of that constitution in to the constitution of the United States of America. Some of these concepts are: checks and balances, our court system, and the system in how we elect our leaders.

The "G" represents government and order. Almost the exact same thing that the constitution represents.

People in American history that were free masons:
George Washington- president
Ben Franklin-discovered electricity
Andrew Jackson- 7th president

These people all helped create or enforce the constitution were all masons. There are many more in history I just listed a few.
