The definition of "Protection" is : to cover or shield from exposure, injury, damage, or destruction : guard. Protection represents the Constitution, because the Constitution makes sure that the people are always given their freedoms and rights. The Constitution protects what people do. If a crime is committed, the Constitution says that the suspect has the right to know why they are being charged, and for how long. The crime is thrown out if the police violate the suspect's rights.
