./l/. Speech-oral communication.

Speech is very important to the Constitution mostly because of the first amendment. If speech was eliminated from the U.S Constitution, it would be very hard for the governments and it just wouldn't be the same anymore. It would be hard to elect presidents. I know that voting for presidents isn't oral, but you still need freedom to express feelings. If it wasn't for freedom of speech, the electoral college wouldn't have any type of idea of what the people want. After all, it is our country, we should have rights to speak our minds and express feelings under any circumstances. Speech can also apply to all other amendments also. If no one had spoken up, there wouldn't be amendments for god sake.

This image represents the word speech because some may feel as if there freedom to speak was taken away from them and put in a locked cage. I think this should change because if this continues, there would be more suicidal deaths. I believe this would happen because if people think that there voice isn't being heard, then they would feel bad and as if they weren't even there.
A saying that I heard when I was little is "Treat others the way you would want to be treated." This also relates to speech because if you treat others in a bad matter, it doesn't make any since to expect respect as if you did nothing wrong.
